What are Palo Santo and Sage?

Mind, Body, and Spirit Therapy here! Let's get our energy cleansing on! Palo Santo and Sage are a duo of healing and good fortune. 
Since  I can remember, I have sought the healing properties of natural elements. It is a super exciting time for me as some of these spiritual gifts of nature are now in the spotlight in our daily social feeds and stores. When dealing with air purification and energy balancing, Palo Santo and Sage are my go-tos. If you happen to come during the am or afternoon to Meleesa the Salon, you will see me burning both of these around the salon morning and afternoon. Here is WHY we burn our handmade herbal Sage sticks with Lavender and Eucalyptus.

Energy Cleansing

Light it up to rid of any negative energy surrounding us, especially if you just moved into a new home or wish for a more uplifting work environment. If you are into energy, light up anytime you are feeling some heavy and taxing vibes.

Air Purification

Sage works as a natural air purifier - wiping out sick germs, pollen, or pet dander. Yes! What you're thinking is correct, with cold season and other bacteria in the air, light up that SAGE.

Self Care Rituals

We also like to use it for meditative or intention reasons: hitting the 'reset' button on your day or calling for a better night's rest. Palo Santo translates to 'Holy Wood', and to us, that's the translation from Spanish to English. I love to use our mystic friend Palo Santo as a follow up for Sage, to close out our rituals, ring in positive energy, and revive the space around us.
